Business License Interest Rate Change

The Interest Rate for Business License has changed from 12% to 9% effective July 1, 2008 per the Tennessee.Gov Website

Before running your License Notices for Class 3, you will need to update the annual interest rate in your software. Then on July 1st, you will need to update the daily interest rate. Below are instructions on how to do both. If you need any further assistance, please contact support.

Before running your License Notices for Class 3, you will need to update the annual interest rate in your software. Below are instructions on how to do this. If you need any further assistance, please contact support.

From the Business License Menu

License Parameters
Enter to the Interest Rate field under Local. Change this to 9 and press enter (the system will put in the decimal and zeros for you).
Then enter to the Interest Rate field under Department of Revenue. Change this to 9 and press enter (the system will put in the decimal and zeros for you).
Choose Update (F4)
